Recently Intel also laid off employees in Bangalore. Is the begining of the end of the boom? My answer is yes. no boom is permanent. It was bound to happen.

    Hi Guys,

Agreed that no boom is permanent, but India still has a lot going for herself. There are a lot of companies coming into India and realising that India is a jungle of brains willing to work ambitiously. In fact a good sign is that a lot of smaller foreign entities have started their Indian operations. I feel Apple is an exception to the rule and not the sign of impending danger.

However, the biggest problem that is facing us is in one word – ‘attrition’. People should really stick to their jobs rather than keep jumping. Once that fact is established, that’ll give India THE EDGE in global markets.
